For the final update, we notice that MarineTraffic.com has reported that over the past 24 hours or so, the Caribbean princess has achieved 20.7knots, maximum speed. This would be faster than she has been able to sail for the past 2 years or so. This is a good sign that the problems have been generally resolved. More updates when photos become available.

Princess Cruises - Ocean Medallion Update
Princess has announced that their Ocean Medallion program will expand beyond the current trio of Ocean Medallion enabled vessel of the Royal, Regal, and Caribbean Princess. By the end of 2020, guests on most itineraries will be sailing with the technology.
Note that the Pacific, Star, and Golden are not mentioned. This is interesting since the Star and Golden have recieved some of the foundational upgrades for Ocean Medallion on previous drydocks. When we sailed on the Star in late 2017 after her drydock in Victoria, there were several technicians working on-board wearing uniforms with Ocean Medallion logos and labels on them. It's likely that the Ocean Medallion program will be activated on these ships after their transfer to P&O Australia in 2020 and 2022. The Pacific Princess has an uncertain future and may not ever get Ocean Medallion. It is also interesting that the Majestic, Sapphire, and Diamond are not mentioned at all.
The list of ships and planned activation dates are listed below the messages from our sponsors.

More Caribbean Princess Updates - 4/23/2019
I came across a few more photos on the internet. These all indicated they were posted in the last 5 days however, there is a chance these could have been from the Crown's drydock - it's hard to say for sure. Either way, I would imagine the same work is happening on the Caribbean while its in such an extended drydock.
Cabin chairs getting inspected and fixed.
Explorers lounge couch being re-springed and re-upholstered (finally!)
More work in Explorers
Lots of work in Explorers
New couches?
New dining room chairs
More work in Explorers
Fixing up seats in the Princess Theater
The hard working Xaler team - note that it appears every seat in the theater will at a minimum get reconditioned.

Caribbean Princess Drydock/Wetdock Updates
Finding updates on the Caribbean Princess' drydock/wetdock has been challenging. There have been a few photos here and there posted on social media but its been very limited.
A user on CruiseCritic, Stuarth42, has mentioned that their son is working for Sulzer who is doing some of the engine repair work. The employee has indicated that it appears they are behind schedule. There is nothing to indicate this is true, so take it for what it is - a rumor.

Caribbean Princess Drydock Update
The Caribbean Princess will go into drydock from April 13th to May 13th to resolve some major propulsion issues. Although she recently had several internal updates, Princess will be making a few changes to deck 17 aft to make the ship more family friendly.
The "Reef Family Splash Zone" will include a new children's water area on the port side as well as new family game area on the starboard side. The existing bar will remain and the whole area will be re-themed with new colors and loungers as well as oversize board games like Jenga, Cornhole, and Connect Four.
Interesting to note that in the first picture below the walkway to Skywalkers is not shown - I believe this is to show the detail of the pool area. In the second picture, it remains. Information from: https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/20344-the-reef-family-splash-zone-to-debut-aboard-caribbean-princess.html

Caribbean Princess Upcoming Drydock
We currently understand the next Caribbean Princess drydock/wetdock to be 3/25 to 4/6. This will likely be in Grand Bahama shipyard. This represents quite a while since the last drydock/wetdock in May of 2014 but given that its a fairly standard 10/11 day drydock/wetdock for a grand class ship, we don't expect many changes beyond standard maintenance. No new cabins or venues have been identified on the future deck plans, and SHARE is not showing up where Sabbatinis is, which is what has occured on the Emerald.
